We are delighted to share news of recent industry award successes for some of our construction projects and team members.
Imperial Green, a luxury development of new homes in Hythe was one of three finalists in the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards last month in the ‘Construction Project of the Year’ category. The same scheme has since been shortlisted for the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards in the ‘Building Project of the Year – over £10 million’ category. We are attending a judging day soon and will find out whether we win the overall category later in June.
This high-specification project is no stranger to award nominations, having received an NHBC Pride in the Job award in 2016 and in 2017 Matt Weston our Contract Manager was shortlisted as a finalist for the CMYA’s: Construction Manager of the Year in the ‘Residential’ category for his management of the project.
Ben Smith one of our Site Managers has been shortlisted for an LABC Warranty Site Manager award for his work at one of our projects in Canterbury. His nomination came directly from the LABC Warranty Surveyor who visited the site and we will find out whether he wins the overall regional award in June.
Also, in the South East LABC Building Excellence Awards 2018, our project in Aylesford to construct 24 apartments for ex forces personnel on behalf of the Royal British Legion Industries, has been shortlisted in 4 different project categories. Again, we will find out in June whether we win the regional titles. The same project has been shortlisted in the residential category for the South East 2018 RICS awards. The winner will be announced in May.
These award nominations are great achievements for everyone at team Jenner and for our industry partners who’ve worked with us to deliver the projects. We are extremely proud of all our projects and it is fantastic to receive formal recognition for our teams’ efforts. Watch this space in June for the results!
