We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for 3 awards in the last 7 days, reinforcing our ability to deliver excellence.
For the third year in a row, we have been nominated for the LABC South East Building Excellence Awards. The awards, which showcase excellent buildings and outstanding partnerships, are backed by Building Control Surveyors, who have to verify each nomination, so to be shortlisted is a great achievement.
This year, we have two finalists, one is for Best Public Service Building for Hayesbank Surgery and the second is for Rod Wooldridge, who has been nominated for Best Non-Residential Site Agent for Hayesbank Surgery. Rod delivered this complex five phased scheme in a live medical environment, where privacy and cleanliness were high on the agenda. Rod’s nomination was backed by Ashford Borough Council Building Control and the Client, Practice Manager Caron Browning. The ceremony for the LABC Awards is held at the Grand in Brighton, on 23rd June
Fulston Manor’s new Sixth Form Centre has been shortlisted for Building Project of the Year at the London and South East Constructing Excellence Awards. The project, delivered within a live educational site, shows how collaboration between the project team, which included Lee Evans Partnership LLP and Betteridge and Milsom, can deliver high quality educational spaces. The scheme features dedicated space for the evergrowing 6th Form population as well as versatile teaching spaces for the School.
The scheme is up against stiff competition and now the team have to go to a Judging Day where a presentation will be made to industry experts, who will ultimately choose the winner. The awards ceremony is being held 6 days after the LABC awards in London, so, fingers crossed, we could have 2 wins in less than a week!
