Just one week on from securing the ‘Community Champion’ accolade at the Considerate Constructors Leading Lights Awards, Team Jenner have been rewarded once again, this time recognising our use of Press and Public Relations to reposition Jenner for future longevity.

It’s not just buildings we win awards for… Team Jenner enjoy success at the Construction Marketing Awards!

Date: December 2022

Over the past few years, Jenner has organically grown and moved away from the smaller scale projects, rebranding sister company Park Farm Construction to manage these projects. This provided the opportunity to establish Jenner as a contractor able to tackle larger, more complex projects, without losing its share of smaller projects.

It is this new forward-thinking approach and technical capability Jenner wanted to clearly communicate to the marketplace. Clearly demonstrating that we are a regional contractor with tier one, national contractor ability. It was integrally important to promote this new standing to help differentiate Jenner from the competition, especially other local businesses.

To help achieve this objective, working with external advisors Fabrick; specialists in construction marketing, a PR campaign was devised, designed to raise awareness of our size and technical ability. This cleverly utilised project examples to help address any misconceptions about capabilities and re-educate both the national and regional marketplace by drawing attention to our new standing and expertise. Key to this was to build credibility through coverage across quality, journalist led press.

Our flagship projects formed the focus of the campaign – F51, the world’s first and largest multi-storey skate park and Shoreline, an ambitious coastal residential scheme of 84 luxury new homes. These projects were selected as they evidenced scale and complexity – from difficult coastal ground conditions to world first structural engineering - within different market sectors. The projects also both have a profound community perspective in terms of regeneration. These presented a host of PR angles and opportunities to demonstrate Jenner’s new positioning.

Two years on from winning at the same awards for ‘Best Branding and Positioning’ following an overall company rebrand {but unfortunately amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently inhibited to an online virtual ceremony} the Team celebrated the win at the gala awards ceremony held at the Hilton Bankside in London on Thursday 1st December, and which was the biggest presentation dinner in the 22 year history of the Awards.

The Construction Marketing Awards showcase the construction industry’s creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in marketing, and Jenner are very proud that the hard work of our marketing team has been acknowledged in this manner.
