Following the demolition of the vast majority of the existing one-storey GP premises which was no longer fit-for-purpose, our General Works team worked tirelessly to deliver a new three-storey replacement surgery, of steel framed construction to provide long awaited modernised healthcare facilities.

The new surgery vastly benefits the local community by considerably improving primary care provision through the provision of vibrant new medical consultation and treatment rooms, a conference and training room, nurses stations, ancillary office and administration facilities and spacious, welcoming patient waiting areas.

Externally, a large, paved balcony envelops the building, providing outside seating spaces whilst capturing the benefits of natural light and fresh air for patient’s overall health and wellbeing and parking is provided for staff and patients to the surgery.

Whilst works were dramatically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic the new premises were handed over to a delighted client on time in February 2021, scoring a top 10/10 for quality of product and service as well as for collaboration, value for money, environmental performance and health safety. Openly praised by the Doctors who wrote to confirm they are “very happy” with their new premises and considered the Jenner team to be hardworking and “very approachable at all levels”.
