The scheme comprises the construction of 140 flats, with 40 shared ownership units, 40 affordable rent units and 60 for sale units.
The construction of the u-shaped layout of the buildings is a pre-insulated timber frame with a masonry façade, which is complimented with sliding sash windows, stucco render, and reconstituted Portland stone cornices and window surrounds.
Car parking within the scheme is facilitated by a reinforced concrete basement car park and flight deck with provision for 140 parking spaces.
Although the scheme already had an existing planning consent prior to construction beginning, we undertook significant redesign work to provide a more buildable scheme. In consultation with the local planners we also undertook to provide more aesthetically pleasing elevational treatments with sympathetic detailing to compliment the surrounding facades.
