We’ve delivered an extension to Faversham Gymnastics Club that provides greater floor space and a new vaulting lane and foam pit for members. This extra space also gives the club greater flexibility when moving and setting up equipment and in the number of classes they can hold.
The extension is has been completed using a steel frame system and externally cladding . We constructed the extension without opening up the walls of the gym to allow the Club to continued to be used throughout.
The existing exterior cladding of the building was removed to allow for the steel frame to be constructed and connected onto the existing building. When the project was a month away from finishing, we broke through the existing wall to create the extension and then provide hoarding to segregate the last few weeks of work.
