These two light industrial units were purpose built for end Builder’s merchant Travis Perkins and consisted of one 1000m2 unit and one 500m2 unit on a previously remediated brownfield site at Shearway Business Park, Folkestone.
The Travis Perkins unit included a fire wall the to the rear elevation due to the proximity to the boundary and also an internal partition between the proposed office and the warehouse areas.
For both of the units we coordinated the end users preferred specialist contractors for elements such as roller shutters and automated entrance doors.
Externally the scheme comprised approximately 4800m2 of concrete service yard and car parking. Security fencing was erected to the perimeter of the site.
Throughout the project we coordinated with the end users requirements and were able to complete our contract early to allow their internal fit-out contractors access.
