Located in the centre of Canterbury, this site previously held an ambulance station and all associated facilities. Now, under redevelopment, the site will soon hold 6 apartments and 8 houses for private sale.
The scheme is being developed using a traditional masonry solution.
The apartment block is between 2-3 storeys in height and front Military Road, while the terrace of houses front onto an adjoining park and overlook St Thomas’ School. The final two units face onto Old Ruttington Lane. Each of the houses have a small enclosed rear garden and a single car parking space.
Due to its location within a conservation area, the houses have been designed in a Georgian style and complementary finishing materials have been chosen, for example, high specification timber windows.
The site is located on a busy arterial road and is also located adjacent to a school. We have worked to develop a logistics plan that take these elements into account, including scheduling deliveries outside peak traffic times and school runs.
