Team Jenner attended the National LABC Awards on Friday 10th November at the Westminster Park Plaza in London and were joined by many companies hopeful of getting their hands on the coveted Gold LABC trophy. Site Manager Rod Wooldridge was nominated in the Non Residential Site Agent of the Year Category, after winning the South East Regional award in June. He was up against some stiff competition from the 9 other regional winners.
After the tension mounted through the dinner and into the ceremony, we were very pleased to see Rod win his category, to rapturous applause from his colleagues, making this the first time Jenner have picked up a gold trophy. We are extremely proud of his achievements on such a complex project.
Rod won the award for his considerate delivery of the Hayesbank Surgery project in Ashford, that involved a five-phase extension and refurbishment of a GP surgery which has 17,500 patients on its books, an adjacent pharmacy and was operational throughout. Rod was commended by Ashford Borough Council Building Control for his commitment to the project and his ability to deliver a complex scheme in a live environment, working evenings and weekends to minimise disruption to patients.
We’d like to thank Ashford Borough Council Building Control for nominating Rod for the award back in January and supporting us through the process.
