The awards keep coming for Jenner in 2017 as Rod Wooldridge won Non-Residential Site Agent of the Year on Friday at the LABC South East Building Excellence Awards. Jenner have now won at the awards two years in a row, after Castle Street won Best Small New Housing Development in 2016.
The event, held at the prestigious Grand Hotel on the Brighton seafront, celebrates excellence in construction and for the Site Agent category, celebrates those Agents who ‘going above and beyond the call of duty’.
Rod won the award for his considerate delivery of the Hayesbank Surgery project in Ashford, that involved a five-phase extension and refurbishment of a GP surgery which has 17,500 patients on its books, an adjacent pharmacy and was operational throughout. Rod was commended by Ashford Borough Council Building Control for his commitment to the project and his ability to deliver a complex scheme in a live environment, working evenings and weekends to minimise disruption to patients.
We’d like to thank Ashford Borough Council Building Control for nominating Rod for the award.
Hayesbank Surgery was also shortlisted for the ‘Best Public Service Building‘ category, but sadly lost out to the iconic Brighton i360.
Rod now goes forward to the Grand Finals, which are to be held in London on 10th November, where he is come up against the other regional winners for coveted National Gold LABC Award.
