Martin Sandall
Managing DirectorAs Managing Director of the Jenner Group for over 15 years, Martin has steered the business through some of the most challenging of circumstances to become a modern, progressive and award-winning construction company, with an exceptionally strong reputation.
Creating a people focused culture by building a team of trusted, talented people, Martin has set company values that ensures Jenner is both a contractor and employer of choice.
Whilst overseeing all aspects of business operations Martins key strength lies in supporting the front-of-house team in nurturing all key, strategic business relations whilst providing vital support in pre-construction stages of projects.
As a Chartered Surveyor, Martin has a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise that has allowed him to successfully lead the business to become one of Kent’s longest standing and most sizeable regional contractors.

Nicholas Barnes
Construction DirectorNick joined Jenner as a trainee site manager in 1979 following which he quickly progressed to site manager. He then made the transition to contracts manager and following his success within this role Nick was invited onto the board of directors as Construction Director in 2000.
With his wealth of building experience and practical skills, Nick undertakes a wide range of responsibilities within the company. He maintains a hands on role and has continued to act as contracts manager on a variety of projects since becoming Construction Director.
Nick has been involved in a number of complex and interesting projects over the years which amongst others include the two enterprise centres constructed by Jenner in Folkestone and Crawley. He was also involved with the Chatham High Street scheme completed in 2005 and th £11.8m Eastern Esplanade project at Cliftonville.
In addition to the construction process Nick is also responsible for work undertaken during the maintenance stage of projects and he also coordinates the health and safety training for office and site based staff.
Nick is a board member of Construction Safety South East and Vice-Chairman of the Invicta Training Group which is an organisation established to encourage training within the industry.

Dean Elvidge
Pre-Construction DirectorDean began his career in 1988 with a Canterbury based quantity surveying practice. During this time he undertook a part-time degree course at the University of Greenwich and graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in 1993 and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1996.
The desire to gain experience with a contracting organisation led Dean to join Jenner in 2000 as a Contract Surveyor and he maintains a senior role within the surveying team. He has gained experience on a number of interesting projects whilst at Jenner, most notably the Annexe to the Trevor Gibbens Unit at Maidstone Hospital, Folkestone Glassworks Phases 2 and 3 for the Creative Foundation and the Victoria Villa project at Margate for Orbit South where he was closely involved with the breeam multi-residential assessment that achieved an excellent rating.
In November 2008, Dean took on the role of New Business Manager and in April 2010 was invited on to the board of directors as Business Development Director. He has recently become Pre-Construction Director, focusing on the front end of the business. As part of this role Dean has been investigating areas of the business that have potential for further development. He is also involved in managing Jenner’s Quality Management System and he played a key role in this achieving ISO 9001 accreditation during 2014.

Geoff Crouch
Surveying DirectorIn his role as Surveying Director and as one of the six shareholding Directors of the Jenner Group, Geoff carefully manages the commercial aspects of the growing Jenner business.
As a Chartered Surveyor himself and with a wealth of expertise, experience and knowledge, Geoff has successfully nurtured a team of ‘home-grown’ Surveyors to build a loyal and trusted department.
Throughout his career Geoff has managed an array of complex and sizeable projects across the leisure, residential, education and commercial sectors and is currently part of the team responsible for the delivery of the highly complex and world class multi-storey skate park and sports complex in Folkestone.

Andrew Ralph
Estimating DirectorAndy started his career as a trainee surveyor with a national contractor in 1990. He soon progressed to assistant surveyor and surveyor and continued his studies to gain a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree at the University of Greenwich.
In 1997 Andy joined a local contractor and in addition to surveying he also gained experience in sub-contract and materials buying and worked on a £2.5m distribution centre at Eurolink, Sittingbourne.
Upon his return to national contracting Andy worked on two large leisure projects at Buckmore Park and Horsham, before joining a hotel chain where he worked with in-house architects on extension projects to provide five star accommodation to listed buildings within their portfolio.
In 2004 Andy joined Jenner as an Estimator. His success within this role led him to become Estimating Director in 2007 and he is responsible for a team of four Estimators. Since being at Jenner, Andy has become a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Michael Withers
Construction Director / Health and Safety DirectorMichael joined the Board of Directors as a non-shareholding Director on 1st July.
Michael holds a significant knowledge and experience of the construction industry, having proven himself to be an excellent Site Manager and exceptional Contracts Manager for Jenner over the past 14 years. Michael will continue to apply that resourcefulness and experience at Board level, whilst bringing a renewed energy and enthusiasm to what is already a galvanised and experienced top-level Board.

Lee Crumbie
Finance DirectorWith a varied career spanning almost 20 years Lee joined the Board of Directors in 2023 in the role of Finance Director.
Lee’s experience working both in Practice and client-side has undoubtedly given him a holistic approach to business management and accountancy as well as an invaluable, insightful knowledge and detailed understanding of the construction sector, further augmenting his suitability to become such an integral part of the Jenner team.
Having commenced his training with Finn Kelcey & Chapman in Ashford, who have since become Azets, it again seems incredibly fitting that Lee’s career began with the business now employed as our external auditing accountants. Subsequently moving to Spain Brothers & Co (now known as MHA) in Folkestone to continue his training he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014.
Upon reaching the position of Audit Manager in 2019 he then moved away from Practice working client-side at The Port of Dover as a Financial Accountant. Managing and reporting on an internal project portfolio of over £300 million, with a mix of Revenue and Capital projects, his keen interest in the construction industry initiated a further move in 2021 to GSE Building and Civil Engineering Ltd as a Finance Manager, soon progressing to Financial Controller and the position he has held for the last two years before joining Jenner.

Development DirectorTim joined Jenner in 2017 to strengthen the pre-construction team. Tim also works closely with Leath Park Developments; Jenner’s sister company, to assist with planning matters and bringing forward land-led opportunities. Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his career within the affordable housing sector.

Technical ManagerBen, as a qualified architectural technician, joined the team in 2019 as Technical Manager and provides a wealth of expertise to support the pre-construction team. Providing design advice from a technical perspective Ben is a huge asset to the Jenner team to ensure we build efficiently and to the highest standards.

Ella Brocklebank
Head of Communications & Business DevelopmentElla joined Jenner in 2017 to strengthen the front-of-house team, working closely with the Board of Directors to manage all business development, marketing and brand related activities; nurturing existing relationships whilst building new to ensure a healthy pipeline of profitable opportunity. She leads on all internal and external communications for Jenner and its subsidiary businesses.
With over 20 years experience in the industry she has co-Chaired the Kent Construction Focus Group - the largest industry support group in Kent as part of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, for the past 13 years. She is also part of various local committees including the East Kent Economic Development Group and Kent Constructing Excellence Club as well as being a Governor for EKC Group and part of the Board for the Kent & Medway Business Fund Small Business Boost Loans scheme. In 2018 she also became a Trustee of Charitable Grant making trust ‘Donations with a Difference’.

Derek Kedwell
Chief Buyer / Park Farm Joinery Managing DirectorDerek joined the company in 1982 as a general trainee and gained experience of working within a number of different departments including Hythe Plant Services and Park Farm Joinery.
Following a period of time on site Derek then worked within the General Works department where he undertook both surveying and estimating duties. During this time he also worked on measured term contracts where he undertook both contracts managing and surveying duties.
As the business evolved and the need for a materials buying department was recognised, Derek became involved with the development of this department from its early stages and soon took on the role of Chief Buyer. He is now responsible for a team of three who undertake both materials and plant purchases. Derek is also responsible for our mobile and office communication systems.
Derek has maintained close links with our joinery department, Park Farm Joinery throughout his career at Jenner. His knowledge of joinery and timber supply meant that he was ideally suited to take on the Managing Director role of the department in 2004.

Customer Care Manager / Park Farm Construction Contract ManagerWith over 20 years' experience within the construction industry, Neil originally joined the Jenner team in the sole capacity of customer care manager. but now also acts as a contracts manager for Park Farm Construction.
Neil's career began as an apprentice bricklayer gaining his City & Guilds before swiftly moving to an assistant site manager position for 12 years. Following this Neil moved to become a key member of the estates team at the University of Kent working on all aspects from new build to refurbishment.
Gaining his HND in Construction Management, Neil joined the Jenner team in 2019.

Tony Collins
Operations Director of Park Farm ConstructionTony’s experience and knowledge of the construction industry proves that he is at least that, and undoubtedly the best person to lead Park Farm Construction on behalf of Jenner.
As an experienced professional with unrelenting enthusiasm in all he does, Tony strives to deliver to the very highest standards for all our clients to the same trusted standards of the Jenner brand.
Commencing his career as a decorator at 16 years of age with an appetite to grow and improve, he subsequently progressed to learn multiple trade skills which have proved invaluable in managing his diverse team of multi-trade operatives within Park Farm Construction. Often hands-on in his approach he is well respected by all that work with him. Fortunate to work alongside experienced colleagues and gain encouragement from employers throughout his career, Tony has experience life as a site agent, contracts manager and director of his own company before moving to Kent in 2019 to join the Jenner team.

Jim Gosbee
Park Farm Glazing DirectorJim’s career within the glass industry spans 45 years since leaving school; working for various local businesses and gaining an NVQ Level 3 in surveying. He joined the Jenner team in 2018 to establish Park Farm Glazing as a subsidiary business of the Jenner Group and to provide bespoke, quality glazing products for our projects as well as many external clients.
