A sneak peek inside new medical centre

The 360 tour (click to view) allows viewers to get a sneak peek inside the new state-of-the-art location and see what facilities will be on offer once the doors open at the new centre next to Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
The Canterbury Medical Practice teams based at Cossington House and London Road will move into the new centre once construction work is completed, leaving their current cramped and outdated premises. The new building will provide space for an expanding and extended range of services in the community with 12 consulting rooms, four treatment rooms and over 10,000sqft of accommodation - all designed to meet the latest environmental standards.
Work on the new medical centre is progressing well once again despite the challenges of COVID-19 and our temporary closure.

The development, which is due to complete later this year, is one of the first new-build GP premises projects in the country to have received capital funding from NHS England’s Estates and Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF), and has been identified as a priority scheme for NHS Kent and Medway CCG for a number of years.
