Folkestone Academy:
Located just a stone’s throw from Jenner headquarters, neighbouring Folkestone Academy engaged Park Farm Construction to carry out sensitive remodelling works and create reinforced isolation rooms, or ‘calming pods’, for students with behavioural needs who require quiet space away from their peers. The rooms were fully reconfigured, with upgraded electrical services, redecoration and new flooring. Each room was then subdivided with specialist, hardwearing glazed screens. The frames were manufactured by our in-house Park Farm Joinery team, enabling teaching staff to observe and monitor students safely and securely.

Folkestone Primary school:
The PFC team were delighted to return to the Folkestone Academy located within minutes of our Head Office in the Summer of 2023, where we had previously delivered ‘calming pods’ for the Trust. This time we were back at the Primary School during the Summer holidays to reconfigure two, existing clusters of three classrooms to form four larger teaching spaces ready for the new academic year. New partitions were erected, complete electrical upgrades carried out (including lights and audio-visual equipment), new flooring laid and full redecorations concluded the refurbishment. Delivered across a fast-track programme to ensure the facilities would be ready for the new cohorts of students the works were completed ahead of schedule and once again to the delight of our client.
