This project at Valley Park School delivered a new teaching block – A three storey building housing nine classroom areas on the ground and first floors, together with ancillary facilities such as offices and wc areas. A new careers library utilises the majority of the second floor along with three interview rooms.

A Sixth Form area is also located on this floor together with an associated kitchen facility. The upper floors are accessed via two separate staircase towers and a passenger lift.

We completed the project prior to the Easter Holidays, which allowed this school to use the holiday time to move into the new facility in time for the Summer Term.

We were considerate and reactive throughout the contract and we recognised the importance of deliveries at an early stage. Delivery logistics were carefully managed throughout to avoid disruption and to manage this process we employed a Transport Manager who had a small set-up located at the shared entrance of both Schools.
